Camp Cottermouth is Scouts ACT's camping and accommodation centre, in a peaceful bush setting 5 minutes from the edge of urban Canberra and 15 minutes from Parliament House. It is located in the Cotter Precinct, an area of the ACT known for its natural beauty and suitability for a variety of outdoor pursuits. Camp Cottermouth offers panoramic views of the nearby Brindabella Mountains and it borders the Murrumbidgee River.
Accommodation is in ensuited cabins (all have reverse cycle air-conditioning) and can accommodate up to 100 people. All cabins have bathrooms, 3 have kitchens, and 2 are designed to accommodate people with impaired mobility. Linen is available to be hired if you prefer not to bring your own.
The air-conditioned hall has the capacity to comfortably seat up to 150. All students are fully catered for and after dinner there is space for indoor activities.
