With an experienced education officer, your students will benefit from their extensive knowledge of marine life and face-to-face teaching sessions focused on a selection of specialised topics.
The Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary education program is delivered by trained and passionate marine educator officers and it’s this, combined with our commitment to marine conservation, which makes them the Northern Beaches' leading school excursion venue.
Many SEA LIFE Sanctuary are passionate about rescue - nursing animals back to health and releasing them back to the wild; they successfully breed species found in the waters around Sydney Harbour and the Northern Beaches; and protect the local habitats that they live in. Animals they rescue that are not fit to be sent back to the wild stay here at the Sanctuary where they help us educate the public.
A range of study resources are also available to enhance your school's excursions, and having been developed by teachers, they are aligned to the NSW Syllabus and also support the Australian curriculum learning objectives.
Manly SEA LIFE Sanctuary is licensed by National Parks and Wildlife to rescue and re-habilitate reptiles. They are also accredited as a scientific research facility which enables tagging and tracking of any turtles that are rehabilitated and released.
