The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney draws on spectacular plant displays to provide quality learning experiences. The lessons aim to increase students’ understanding and appreciation of plants and the environment through hands-on activities. All lessons are closely linked to the NSW Board of Studies syllabus outcomes and new lessons are being created in line with the new NSW syllabus for the Australian Curriculum. They are conducted by highly qualified and experienced Trust staff.
The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney contains themed environments such as the Succulent Garden, Main Pond, Oriental Garden, the Cadi Jam Ora: First Encounters Garden, Herb Garden, Rare and Threatened Garden and the heritage Palm Grove. These environments provide the perfect setting for students to gain the skills and knowledge needed to become environmentally sustainable citizens.
